Growing pains.

We have been experiencing traffic levels that are much higher than normal after the new site launched yesterday and have been increasing server capacity as quickly as possible. Because of this, you might experience slower page loading but we are working on it!

A new chapter at eDeals.com

Well we finally did it.

After months and months of work including long nights, and cross country flights we have launched our new site design. It's still in beta, so we are working out a few little bugs here and there to deliver the best user experience possible.

We worked with our designers to create something with a strong focus on keeping things simple for the user. When we asked our users what was most important to them, they told us quite simply: coupons. So during the design process we ensured that those were the easiest things to find on the merchant page.

Some other great changes you will find on the site:

• Travel has been completely overhauled from the ground up. We have created what we believe to be a great one stop destination for your travel needs. Simply enter your travel plans once and quickly browse the results of several partners. We are still working out the bugs with a few of our partners, but to get the best results make sure your cookies and popups are enabled.

• Our Auctions section has also been completly redesigned from the ground up. We now deliver results one one page, and allow you to sort through the results as if they were being delivered from one source. We are working to add additional partners, and would love to hear your feedback on this exciting product.

• Compare Prices for individual products now happens on the page so when we post a deal you can know that you are getting the best deal. See the example at : Buy.com Coupons and mouseover the Compare Prices on the Plasma TV deal. Pretty sharp huh? :)

• We eliminated the forums and moved to a comment system that allows you to comment on any deal on the site. It doesn't require any sort of registration but we did enable a captcha to cut down on SPAM.

We have some great things coming for the holiday season as well but I don't want to give away all the secrets - yet! We have increased our staff and have made strong commitments and partnerships with our merchants to ensure that we are always delivering the best deals!
